I have been doing Iron Palm (on and off) since I was a teen.
It is real and it can make your hand into a tool to give pain!It will take at least a year and a half to really get Iron Palm in any true sense of it.
In 100 days tho you can make u hands so much more powerful- beyond those of most fighters save hard core boxers.
I love how Keen shown how to use Iron Palm in attacking and in defense.
I learned from an older Irishman as a teen how to do some of the moves that Keen shows.
We were some of the only white ppl in the crap neighborhood I was in and he took a liking to me and showed me boxing and hard hand training and some Iron Palm hits and offenses.
The defect a strike to the ear after countering a punch is real.
As is the fast strike (palm up or down) to the genitals of the opponent – also very real.
I say those are ‘real’ because I have used both of them in bar fights.
Sure, a total of three times (two for the hit to genitals and one counter to ear hit) over my years but three actual fights in which I kept safe and dropped the other guy with those practiced and conditioned moves none the less.

You can hurt your hand on this form of training.
I would recommended that you (no shit!) learn to juggle and play a musical instrument like the piano, flute or guitar.
The reason is that in modern life we cannot have our hands be insensitive and lack dexterity.
Iron Palm can blunt the fine sense of touch and control.
You need that to dial a BlackBerry or massage and finger a woman during lovemaking and so on.
The exercises I recommended will counter the ill effect if you train too much or train incorrectly.
Go slow and make sure to massage your hands and do dexterity drills to keep full function in your new “weaponized” hands.
I use Dit Ta Jow sometimes when I train and I go with out it other times.
For me, not always using it has not hindered my total progress- but for healing the hands you may need some Dit Ta Jow in the beginning.
This is a great program over all.
