Learn how to embrace nonjudgmental inquiry in order to successfully examine your own parenting journey.
Learn precise techniques to parent well – even in the heat of the moment – by uncovering parenting habits you inherited (and continue to do so).
Identify the specific triggers that lead you to lose your center, and then take little actions toward being the best version of yourself as a parent.
Learn the power of responding deliberately rather than reacting.
Create a clear vision of how you want your parenting abilities – and your relationship with your children – to be altered by the conclusion of this course.
Module 2: Effective “Captaining the Ship” Tools (Recorded April 30)

Children want leadership; it gives them comfort to know that their parent can face the “storms” of growing up as the calm captain of their ship – without jumping over the rails when things become rough. While your children are heavenly and spiritual creatures in their own right, they nonetheless require their parent to completely embrace the position of leader.

Discover why it is critical to accept hierarchical structures with love and understanding.
Discover a simple method for detecting whether you’re in command as the “captain,” debating or negotiating as the “two attorneys,” or threatening as the “dictator.”
Learn how to be the captain of your child’s ship, boldly navigating the calm AND stormy waters of parenting rather than dominating through incentives and threats.
Learn how to come with your child rather than at them in order to build receptivity and collaboration.
Discover how to be calm, collected, connected, and in control even when your children press your buttons.

Module 3: Your child is just what you need for your growth and evolution (Recorded May 7)

Consider how you respond when your daughter spills red juice on your new sofa or when your son refuses to turn off his laptop at 1:00 a.m. on a school night to measure your spiritual practice. You don’t have to separate the reality of parenting from your faith. In reality, the very kid you have is likely to provide you with ideal possibilities for growth and evolution.

To establish a more peaceful family life, learn about the “snapshot child” and how to overcome your expectations for how your child should act.
Examine how you treat your children – and yourself – when their conduct differs from how you want they would act or be.
Learn how to celebrate your child exactly as he or she is, deliberately working through disappointment as required.
Grow to see even the most challenging situations as opportunities to learn and progress past old difficulties.

Childhood is full with difficult experiences. Your kid would prefer stay in bed than rush out the door for school, or your daughter had a friend come over to play, but arrangements fell through. Rather than resolving your children’s problems, what they truly require are parents who can lead them through life’s inevitable setbacks, allowing them to develop into resilient individuals. And, while you’re assisting your children in dealing with frustration, you have the opportunity to acquire new coping strategies for yourself.

Investigate what arises for you when your children are unhappy, wounded, angry, or just don’t like you.
Learn how to assist a youngster in transitioning from irritation to acceptance rather than hostility.
Develop mindful methods for remaining present and grounded in the middle of an emotional or physical “storm” for your child.
Learn how to help your child feel and move through sadness and loss when things don’t go his or her way.

Module 5: Raising Conscientious, Caring, and Connected Children (Recorded May 21)

Most of us desire to offer our children with things that we may not have had when we started our own lives. While you cannot accompany your children throughout their adult life, you can provide them with powerful tools and abilities that will assist them in avoiding some of the traps that may cause them to become disoriented.

Learn kid and teen-friendly mindfulness techniques.
Teach youngsters to challenge their views and beliefs that contribute to stress, despair, and anxiety.
Learn to be a role model for beneficial actions such as thankfulness.
Assist youngsters in managing their digital media, from content quality to time spent.
Encourage youngsters to participate in outdoor activities to counteract Nature Deficit Disorder.
Give youngsters direction so they may learn to unravel intricate peer connections.
Learn how to help youngsters develop authentic empathy and compassion.
Teach your children how to listen, speak effectively, and engage in challenging conversations.

Module 6: Feeling the Love: Building a Strong Bond with Your Child (Recorded May 28)

When you feel recognized, valued, and appreciated, your heart opens, and the same is true for your children. One of the most valuable blessings of parenthood is the opportunity to broaden and enhance your capacity for love. You bring powerful feelings of love and joy to your children – and yourself – as you learn to be more completely and regularly present and heart-centered in your interactions with them.

Discover how to strengthen true and deep attachment with your kid, regardless of age, hobbies, or temperament.
Create a spiritual connection with your child while also making your family life and surroundings more peaceful.
Identify vulnerable components and boost your child’s natural connection.
Keep an eye out for ways you impede genuine connection.
Heal habits and limits that you may have brought from childhood anxieties and wounding.
Module 7: Being Present During the Ride (June 4 recording)

It’s easy to become “lost to the list” as you go through your parenting day, focused on the essentials like getting your kids dressed and completing schoolwork. But childhood is only a small period of time in which you have the opportunity to influence and love your children before they leave for their own life. It’s critical to remember how fast time flies and to make the most of even the most little conversations and experiences that nourish you and your children.

Learn to be in the now – for the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Learn how to make intentions that will help you to keep growing – and growing up.
Learn the value of creating time and just letting go in order to appreciate the delicious, spontaneous moments of enchantment.
