Strala creator Mike Taylor welcomes you to your Strala ENERGIZE 1-Hour Yoga and Tai Chi Flow Class.

This is one of the key classes we teach at all of our trainings and events for a diverse range of people with diverse needs from all over the world. Every year, these core classes develop, so you’ll constantly discover new practices and motions, methods and skill-sets.

This energy-boosting session focuses on learning and using tai chi movement concepts to produce whole-body synchronization and harmony.

And, of course, whether you’re pregnant or otherwise, always consult your doctor first. It is beneficial to get guidance from a knowledgeable specialist who is familiar with your specific situation.

Strala’s Background

Strala integrates tai chi’s movement and healing wisdom with the form languages of yoga, tai chi, qigong, and Traditional Chinese Medicine to help individuals release tension, heal, and move effortlessly through all types of obstacle.

It starts with a mindset that says the greatest way to go somewhere is to feel good along the way. It also works wonders for overall health, assisting us in finding relaxation in our bodies and minds and creating the best circumstances for healing and performance.

Who are the Founders?

Tara Stiles established Strala, drawing on her expertise in classical ballet and choreography, as well as her long-standing personal yoga practice. Tara trained under Paul Taylor Dance Company choreographer and dancer Eileen Cropley and began her yoga studies in the 1990s with her ballet teacher, American Ballet Theater’s Rory Foster.

Strala’s science and movement are also led by Strala co-founder Mike Taylor. Mike went to Harvard for mind-body medicine and Oxford for integrative medicine. He has been practicing Eastern movement and healing for 30 years, including tai chi and qi gong.

Dr. Deepak Chopra, a pioneer in mind-body health, and Dr. Rudolph Tanzi, a Harvard neurology professor and Director of the Genetics and Aging Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital, support our program.
