Interesting case studies and thought-provoking photosIn contemporary culture, there is an increase in violence and lawsuits. In order to offer compassionate and thorough care, every nurse must have a basic understanding of the most common kinds of abuse/maltreatment, as well as be prepared for unavoidable exposure to the judicial system (civil, criminal, human rights). Forensic nursing is a growing and intriguing nursing sub-specialty. Many people find this not only fascinating, but also an appealing approach of comprehensive patient treatment. Acquiring a distinct skill set based on evidence-based practice enables nurses to make meaningful and one-of-a-kind contributions both within and outside of the conventional practice context. This one-day training will teach you how to recognize and intervene with abused/victimized patients, as well as how to apply useful assessment tools, study numerous charting examples, and look closely at a variety of images and case studies. Because very few nurses have received legal training, this is an important knowledge update that tackles current trends in risk management and application to practice in order to avoid unfavorable consequences.
