What Java version will I learn?

All of the videos in the course were shot with the most recent version.

Java 11. It is advised that you use that version, but if you have an older version, most of the course should still work.

Java 11 is the version to learn since Oracle has declared it as the LTS version of Java, which means it will be supported for many years to come. They do this so that major corporations may use a certain version of Java on client sites for years without having to worry about new versions of Java breaking previously functional apps.

Java 11 will be updated on a regular basis throughout this period, although it will stay at version 11.

Oracle also releases new Java versions six times a year, however once a new version is launched, the prior version is no longer supported.
