KAPAP instructs Israeli Special Forces, counter-terrorism, and police forces defensive techniques.
According to KAPAP’s concept, no one has the right to interfere with you maliciously, and anybody who does so should be dealt with swiftly and violently.
Kapap is a combat theory that combines numerous fighting methods such as boxing, judo, jujitsu, knife combat, gun combat, and rifle warfare.
Fighting empty-handed against each of these weapons, as well as weapon versus weapon, is emphasized.
Kapap is appropriate for all fighting grounds, allowing the warrior to conquer every type of combat and preparing him for practically any imaginable eventuality.
Kapap is not a sport nor a competitive sport; it is also not a martial art.
Kapap is an excellent form of self-defense.
The Kapap warrior is a quick, precise, and devastating fighter.
Kapap is designed for learners of all ages, including children, teens, adults, police officers, soldiers, security and armed forces professionals, and bodyguards.
Each group must adhere to and master a certain curriculum.
A Kapap person is a warrior (man of war), not a fighter (competition fighter).
He is ready for any circumstance and any type of weapon.
He will be able to protect himself and his surroundings against any type of attack that threatens him or his environment.
Should the necessity arise, he will be able to operate several types of weaponry and firearms.
He will do so with distinction.
Kapap was not taught in an organized fashion in Israel or anywhere else until 1999.
This occurred after many years of various combat systems, such as Krav maga,” karate, and judo, being taught all over the world primarily for the sake of sporting contests.
To fulfill the demands of such tournaments, many martial arts lost their fighting power and became soft.
Kapap returned in response to the horrible security situation and street criminality, which generated a need for genuine self-defense tactics.
In Israel today, Kapap instructors teach Israel Defense Forces units, other armed forces units such as the Yamam and Shabakas, as well as numerous elite units.
When a Kapap warrior defeats an opponent, he knows he will never compete and will never win a medal or trophy.
He will, however, win his life, which is the genuine recompense.
