DescriptionPhysical pain is a natural and unavoidable part of life, but it is the tales we tell ourselves that can cause us to suffer much more. We cannot always control the suffering that enters our lives, but we can control how we respond to the grief. And some simple mindfulness activities can assist in shifting this connection. In this class, we will discuss some of the most recent research on mindfulness, demonstrating how it may transform the way our bodies feel pain….as well as providing some effective pain reduction practices that you can start using with your patients and clients right now.
