Xing Yi Quan Series DVD/DVDs in the traditional Shan Xi style Today, there are three major styles of Xing Yi Quan practiced: the Henan style, the Hebei style, and the Shan Xi form.
The Shan Xi style is known as the original style, with energetic and forceful energy released through its motions.
This series is part of the Chinese Wushu Exhibition Project Series DVDs, and it is shown and described by Zhang Zigui, one of the top 100 Martial Arts Masters in China today.
Wu Shi Jun, a well-known martial artist, does the demonstration.

1.Xingyi Whip-staff Practice (SXYD01) – 50 min.
Short staff is another name for whip-staff.
It is popular throughout Shanxi and the rest of China’s northwest.
The length is around 1.2 meters.
It is bladeless and short, and the end and handle should be utilized.
It absorbs the methods of long and short weapons and creates its own style as it switches between one and two hands.
The important points are attacking or defending by seizing an opportunity, and weapon and body moving in unison.

2.Hunyuan Sanshou Quan Combat Skills Practice (SXYD02) – 43 min.
This movie mostly offers examples of Hunyuan Sanshou Quan methods in real-world warfare.
It combines Shaolin, Long Fist (Chang Quan), Short Fist (Duan Quan), Through Arm (Tong Bi), Turn Over Fist (Fanzi Quan), Mantis Boxing (Tanglang Quan), and Xingyi Quan techniques.

3.Practical Hunyuan Xingyi Quan Technique (SXYD04) – 50 min.

It includes walking forward or backward with no beginning or conclusion, yet they are connected.

6.Practice Combat Skills in a Variety of Styles SXYD07 (Quan) – 50 min.
Style mixtures Quan is the practice of traditional Xingyi Quan in a variety of forms.
It’s beautiful, but it’s also simple to use, stunning, quadrate up and down, incorporating everything, moving a lot yet smartly, adjustable in posture, and hooked up.
It is the classic Xingyi Quan regimen, which includes various methods and requires many rounds.

7.Chinese Wushu Tuishou Competition Rules (SXYD08) – 54 min.
Wushu Tuishou, which is based on Taiji Tuishou, is a type of civilized athletics in which contestants attempt to knock their opponent to the ground owing to a loss of balance.
Based on the concepts of Touch, Join, Stick, Follow, and “no hit with separated hand,” the contestants use hand methods like Lv (roll back), Ji (squeeze), An (press), Cuo (scrub), Dai (lead), and leg techniques like Bie (clip), Gou (hook), Ban (Stumble), Gua (lead) (hang).
As a result, Wushu Tuishou is also known as civilized Sanshou (free fighting).
The rules of the competition are taught by Zhang Zigui, a well-known martial artist, and shown by Wu Shijun and Liu Jun on this DVD.
Wu is a well-known Chinese martial artist, while Liu is a China Wushu Championships champion.
This CD includes great instructional information for Tuishou participants and judges, detailing acceptable tactics, forbidden components, and competition scoring standards.

8.Interlink Fist of Yue-style—Ba Fan Shou Combat Skills (SXYD11) – 68 min.
According to legend, the legendary Song Dynasty commander Yue Fei trained his soldiers with Ba Fan Shou to boost their war ability.
It is small, practical, simple, and effective for attack and defense, with several hand skills such as Kick, Punch, Tumble, Catch, Bundle, and Throw.
There are three sections: upper, middle, and bottom, each with eight routines.
The feature is the practice of motions on both sides.
