Successful short psychotherapy work with homosexual men entails the use of clinical hypnoses as well as the psychotherapist’s welcoming sympathetic perspective. Years of internalized sham are healed via ego state training and positive self-representations. Specific psychological difficulties for game guys will be explored, as well as basic issues widespread in the homosexual male community, specialized hypnosis scripts, and successful short-term therapeutic options.

Objectives of Education:

Describe and use at least three effective hypnotic methods or short-term treatments for homosexual males.
List the five most difficult aspects of working in groups.
Explain how a therapist’s prejudice might influence therapy outcomes.
