We’re thrilled to announce the next artist to offer a Futurephonic Psychedelic Trance Masterclass: none other than Tristan, who will be delivering his own Ableton Live Psychedelic Special! This lesson will be webcast live from Tristan’s studio on Saturday, October 26th.
The class may be accessed from any location in the world that has an internet connection.

If you’re unfamiliar with Futurephonic, it was founded by Alex Story, an ex-Sonic Species member, and Sam Morgan, an Ableton Live specialist. The Futurephonic Masterclass is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to meet with renowned Psytrance musicians who have previously held numerous successful seminars for students all around the world. The three-hour lectures are hosted online, and once registered, students may join our live Google Hangout, which has unrivaled high-quality stereo audio technology, and be a part of a small, private class. The lesson is totally interactive, and you may ask Tristan questions throughout as he walks students through the procedures he utilizes to give his music that additional slap and mangling for which he is famous.

Tristan has been a fixture in the scene since his days with Twisted and continues to do so with high-flying Nano Records. Tristan, like many other musicians, has become a real Live convert and will demonstrate why he’ll never go back. Rather than deconstructing a track like we have with previous artists, Tristan will show us not only how he develops a tune, but also how he pushes Live to the limit to get the next-level psychedelic glitchiness for which he is well-known.

This class is aimed at intermediate-advanced Live users who want to learn how to get twisted straight from the man – and if you’re not already a Live user, you’ve got about a week to catch up with the software that, one by one, the pros are turning to, including Tristan’s regular collaborators Jez (Laughing Buddha) and Leon (Avalon)!
