Couples can be effectively guided toward long-lasting transformation through the use of a developmental lens. Studying developmental concepts will help you make more informed diagnoses and treatment choices. The session will utilize videotapes and clinical case studies to show how to encourage growth in couples who are antagonistic toward one another or who avoid conflict with one another.
Our Goals as a School:
Outline the five distinct ages that a couple might expect to experience.
Please provide three ways for steering meetings in a useful direction.
Explain how you may apply the results from neuroscience to the problem of couples fighting.In order to protect client privacy and the integrity of the sessions, they *may* be modified.

The Couples Institute in Menlo Park, California was founded and is led by Ellyn Bader, PhD. She has made it her mission in life to assist couples in developing remarkable relationships via her work as a clinical psychologist, workshop leader, author, and speaker. She has spent the past 30 years teaching other professionals about couples therapy all around the world, including in the US, Europe, Asia, South America, and Australia. For eight years, she was a member of the Clinical Faculty of Stanford University’s School of Medicine.
